FLEAS / BEDBUGS

Fleas and bed bugs are like hitchhikers, travelling from one place to another with ease. If they infest your home, you’re in for a big battle against them. But, with our help, you can get rid of these little pests.

Fleas will usually enter your home on the fur of your pets, especially cats and dogs. The first sign that they’re in your home will probably be your furry friends’ discomfort. You might notice them scratching or biting at their bodies more than usual. But, fleas don’t discriminate against humans and will happily bite you too. They bite to feed on you and your pets’ blood, so if you find yourself covered in small red bite marks, you probably have a flea infestation. You might also see them, although they’re very small at around just 1mm in length.

Bed bugs are becoming an ever-increasing problem in UK cities. Early infestations can sometimes be difficult to spot, you would be looking for blood spots and little black faeces marks on the bedding, mattress and headboard. Live insects can also be seen and measure 2-6mm in length with a shield-shaped body. They can get into your home on you, on visitors, or even on second-hand furniture. It has nothing to do with the cleanliness of your home, it’s just down to bad luck.

Both fleas and bed bugs can be incredibly hard to get rid of once they’re in your home. That’s where our team come in. We’re pest control experts, operating throughout Sussex on both residential and commercial spaces. To treat your unwanted fleas or bedbugs, we’ll use a liquid insecticide and a ULV treatment which will get into all cracks and crevices. Fleas can generally be controlled in one treatment whereas Bed Bugs are little more resilient and may take multiple treatments.

We pride ourselves on our friendly and professional service. All of our team are fully qualified and insured, and we’re approved by local authorities.
